Unlike many health applications, Calorie Clock is designed around a simple principle:
Your personal health data stays on your device.
We do not sell your information, build advertising profiles, or require you to create an online account simply to use the app.
Information Stored on Your Device
Calorie Clock may store the following information locally on your iPhone:
- Weight
- Height
- Age
- Sex
- Activity level
- Nutrition goals
- Food history
- Water intake
- Exercise entries
- Favorite foods
- User preferences
- Dashboard settings
- Subscription status
This information remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or back it up using Apple services.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal nutrition or health information on our servers.
Calorie Clock is designed to function without creating an online account.
AI Features
If you choose to use optional AI-powered features such as:
- Text description food logging
- Photo meal recognition
- Nutrition questions
The information required to perform those features may be securely transmitted to a third-party AI provider solely for the purpose of generating a response.
We do not permanently store the submitted content on our own servers.
Apple Health Integration
If enabled, Calorie Clock may access Apple Health data only with your explicit permission.
You control:
- what data is shared
- what data is written
- whether Health integration is enabled
You may revoke access at any time in Apple's Health settings.
In-App Purchases
Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple.
We do not receive your payment information.
Apple's privacy practices govern all payment processing.
Data Deletion
You are always in control.
You may delete your data at any time by:
Settings → Delete All Data
Deleting the app also removes locally stored data from your device unless it has been backed up through Apple services.
Children
Calorie Clock is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
Changes
If our privacy practices change, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
